About Event

The Knowledge Quarter is pleased to share it's upcoming tour of the Aga Khan Centre, taking place on Tuesday 6th May at 08:30 AM.

About the Centre

The Aga Khan Centre is a place of education, knowledge, cultural exchange and insight into Muslim civilisations. The building is the UK home for three organisations founded by His Late Highness Aga Khan IV, the hereditary spiritual leader of the Shi‘a Ismaili Muslims.

The building was designed by Fumihiko Maki, one of Japan’s most distinguished contemporary architects. The Centre is primarily designed for an academic community, with places for students, scholars and staff to share ideas and work together alongside flexible teaching spaces and quiet research areas.

Event Information

We’re thrilled to offer KQ members and residents an exclusive chance to explore some of the building’s smaller (but mighty) details.

The tour will provide a behind-the-scenes look at library artefacts, as well as access to the Sky Garden and the surrounding terrace balconies. With its intelligent design, we’re excited to share all that this space has to offer.

Date: Tuesday 6 May
Time: 08:30 - 09:30 AM
Location: Aga Khan Centre, 10 Handyside St, London N1C 4DN

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note that if you are signing up for a KQ member ticket, you must do so with your member organisation's email address, or we cannot confirm your registration.
