🌱 As spring softens the earth, we gather to honor the past and celebrate the present.
🕯 清明节 (Qingming Festival)—also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day—is a time to remember ancestors, tend to graves, and reflect on impermanence. A moment of both mourning and renewal, where grief and gratitude walk hand in hand.
🍶 To honor this tradition, we’re hosting 清明酒会—an intimate evening of storytelling, poetry, and shared memories, where each sip carries a whisper from another time.

to the selves we’ve lost and found.
Let’s write letters that may never be read,
speak stories carried on the wind,
and pass a cup like a river crossing—
bridging time, distance, and longing.
What to expect:
📜 纸条祭 | Written Offerings – Write a letter to your ancestors, someone you miss, to your past or future self, or to a soul you’ve never met. Let ink carry what words cannot. At the end of the night, we may choose to send them off in the flickering light, as is tradition.
🍶 Tako 小酒馆特调 | Seasonal Spirits of 清明
Open bar with culture-inspired drinks like 孟婆汤 (Meng Po’s Elixir) and more. Inspired by memory, longing, and spring's quiet arrival.
🥚🍃 Seasonal Flavors | 清明小食
We’re preparing homemade 茶叶蛋 (tea eggs) and 青团 (mugwort rice cakes)—flavors that evoke home, ritual, and the arrival of spring.
🎤 清明故事开放麦 | Storytelling Open Mic – Share a story or poem that lingers in your heart, a memory held between worlds.
🚣♂️ 摆渡人的故事 | The Ferryman’s Tales – Pass a cup, a stone, a memory—bridging time, distance, and longing, as we navigate the river of remembrance together.
