OC Tech Gals create safe space for women to discuss work challenges. Be prepared to present your own tech journey to the group, best worst tech interview and workplace for 10 min. You'll have the opportunity to connect with every participant on a deeper level.

Diff tech experience, roles and contribution to the group will receive different invite.
Limited spots available. Emails are sent in waves. Priority is based on contribution to the group, tech experience and other factors.

The location will only be shared via Luma event. Approval Process is to ensure a relevant, intimate and secure gathering. Do not show up without registering thru Event link. Behaviors not aligned with group's brand will result in removal.
Fees: Does not include food or drink. It’s to weed out lookie loos and maybes.
Agenda:
- 12:00pm name tags, staff intro, origin story and wait for rest to arrive
- 12:15pm present your tech background to the group, your best/worst job interviewed and workplace for women (10 min per person)
- 1:30 pm discussion of Best and Worst workplace for attendees
- Honorable mentioned of Best Companies for Women: Metlife Irvine, Pandora, Yahoo!, Tata Consultancy Services 10k+ employees

Levels, Priorities to event announcement & Early Bird
Level 9: Core Staff
Level 8: Invited returning members & referrals
Level 7: Mentors & speakers
Level 6: Senior FAANG, fortune 500, or well known brands (ex-employee ok)
Level 5: Committee (volunteers upgraded by core staff)
Level 4: Senior Techies & potential mentors
Tech professionals whose background & experience qualify as mentors for UCI and UCLA tech students. We don't require attendees to spend time with mentees, but this is the caliber we're seeking to add.
Level 3: Techies 5+ yrs exp and/or Volunteers
Level 2: Techies <5 yrs exp and/or Volunteers
Level 1: Tech Students, newly grad or transitioning
Level H: HR related or recruiters personnel
Food and drink:
There will be vegetarian options. Pay at cashier
Warning: Members whose actions may negatively impact (ex spam) other members will be suspended in the group, 2nd time will be removed and banned from the group. You have the option to pay $1000 to get back in but in suspended mode.
Organization behavior: GIVE MORE TO THIS GROUP THAN TAKE AWAY. We're in a tight circle. Amy suspicious actions are ALREADY discussed by our level 5, 9 (committee & staff) who are mostly level 6.
Etiquette: Do NOT DM our higher level gals for job requests when you only met 1-2 times. We will remove you if this occurs. Our hosts had previously received 20+ DMs from attendees for job requests. This is not our goal.
