Nicole de la Cruz is a singer-songwriter, filmmaker, actress and TikTok Content Creator with over 380K Followers and 300 Million views. Nicole spent her childhood in Southern Florida where she discovered her passion for music and the arts. In 2015, she moved to Los Angeles to further her artistic career. Nicole is best known for her TikTok account (@nicolemariedlc), in which she posts creative comedy skits and, of course, her music. "Who I am... My journey started out in a mecca of salsa music and dancing. My hometown, Cali, Colombia. We moved to New Orleans when I was 4 , and there I discovered the magical sounds of trumpet and guitar. As you can tell, the guitar won my heart as the way of expressing my music to the world.
During my teen years I witnessed my parents and their friends put together the most outrageous Colombian parties. In fact, I was so impacted by it that I decided that was my life's purpose. To bring people together to celebrate life. Even in the smallest of ways or the hardest of times.
My parents gatherings, coupled with my love of music and bands, called me out to start producing music that would hopefully inspire, entertain and reach millions with positive messages and memories and experiences. My journey took me through hard rock and metal bands where Led Zeppelin became my #1 band, but I was also exhilarated about the Scorpions, Van Halen, Iron Maiden and Metallica. One day I heard the Gipsy Kings and my musical soul took me in another direction until I heard Ojos de Brujo, and that was it for me! The combination of these 3 bands has influenced my approach to songwriting and communication like no other, and now here I am, finally putting together all my ideas on my own website.
I've been in a lot of bands and have played in front of thousands of people over the years. My most unique accomplishment is winning a battle of the bands in Seoul, South Korea against rock bands, when I had a hard hitting, high energy Latin, pop rock fusion rumba flamenco band, marinated with a lot of attitude.
For now, I'm back in Los Angeles and I'm creating some amazing music with singing, songwriting and TikTok sensation Nicole De La Cruz. It's high energy Rock, Pop & Latin and so far the response has been very positive. I also have some other works and concerts coming your way, so stay tuned!"
