About the Film
Inspired by thought leaders of silicon valley, this 5-minute short film written and directed by Michal Zebede (whose credits include The Humbling starring Al Pacino and Greta Gerwig and the modern Party of Five reboot) explores the dangers of the evolving presence of artificial intelligence in our daily lives. The film stars Zebede’s Party of Five co-stars, Emily Tosta and Niko Guardado.
The film follows 26-year-old BRIAN, who is isolated in our modern digital world, and starved for human connection. But when he meets the woman of his dreams, he must make a decision that could put an end to the human race.
At a time when our world is becoming increasingly digital, NEW EDEN explores themes of disconnection, vulnerability, utopia, and what's at stake for the future of humanity.
