Sip & Stitch - Needle Point Bookmarks at Village Well Books

​Join us for a Sunday morning coffee/tea date! We will meet at Village Well Books and embroider our very own bookmarks.

​Stephanie Medlock, sewing hobbyist, will walk us through the basics on how to get started - threading the needle, what a waste knot is, and practicing fun introductory decorative stitches. We will sip our warm beverages, chat and spend a slow morning away from our phone making a handmade custom bookmark.

​No prior sewing/embroidery experience needed. ​​Designed for beginners, hobbyists and perfect for anyone who is looking to explore a new medium in a fun and creative environment. If you have been meaning to slow down and delight yourself in the act of making, this is for you!

​**The event is solo-friendly, everyone will be sat at communal tables, perfect for meeting new people!
