The Ginger Mile - Charity: Water Fundraiser
Join us for a very special charity run where 100% of proceeds will be donated to charity: water, whose mission is to bring clean water to the millions of people that don't have access to it. All proceeds from this event will specifically be funding a project to bring clean drinking water to a community in Madagascar.
The Ginger Mile is meant to be a healthy version of the traditional Beer Mile event. The Ginger Mile will consist of 4 laps around the McCarren Park track and in between each lap, you will have the opportunity to drink a variety of healthy juice shots (e.g., ginger shots, coconut water, prebiotic drinks, etc.), fueling your gut health around the track!
The goal of the Ginger Mile is to create an inclusive space, bringing the NYC health & wellness community together while fundraising for such a meaningful cause. The charity mile is open to ALL paces (walkers included)!
We are so excited to be partnering with several local health & wellness communities including: Point B, Queens Running Collective, Still I Run, Goldfinger Track Club, and Brooklyn Walk Club!
Your ticket includes all complementary beverages during the mile run, the opportunity to win fun prizes from brands like Othership and Coda Hotels, and a free drink voucher to redeem at Matchaful Williamsburg!
