In this edition, we bring to you an exclusive experience of Van Bhoj, an architectural gem built by India's famous architects, Revathi and Vasanth Kamath, as a sustainable, everyday home for themselves in the middle of a fast city.
Experience the energy of Mother Earth beneath your feet as you walk on the mud floor of this 25-year-old, fully functional mud house, built with 80% local materials sourced right from its own campus. Designed to harness solar energy (without solar panels!) from sunrise to sunset, this property is surrounded by a lush forest teeming with chirpy wildlife—from peacocks to nilgai, hornbills, and even owls. You will feel the temperature drop as you enter the house!
