Andrew Katz is a leading expert in open-source law with over 30 years in technology. As CEO of Orcro Limited, he advises startups, multinationals, and public institutions on open-source compliance, AI regulation, and software supply chains. A Fellow of the Free Software Foundation Europe, he has co-authored Open Source Law, Policy and Practice (OUP, 2022) and contributed to key EU open-source initiatives. Andrew has played a pivotal role in drafting open hardware licenses, guiding Linux Foundation projects, and shaping global open-source policy.
