About Event

Are you concerned that your loved one may have an eating disorder? Do you feel like you always say the wrong thing despite being well-intentioned? Interested in learning the warning signs? No matter how eating disorders have touched your lives, this webinar is for you!

It’s estimated that approximately one million Canadians have a diagnosis of an eating disorder. With the highest mortality rate out of all mental illnesses, it's time to talk about how to support your loved ones.

In this webinar session delivered by Shift therapists Mallory Hostick and Kendra Casey, you will be provided with a broad overview of what eating disorders are, as well as the signs and symptoms. There will be a focus on myth-busting common misconceptions regarding these often misunderstood disorders as well as the do's and don'ts regarding what to say, how to approach the subject, and what helpful support looks like.

Part of this webinar will be dedicated to a Q&A session to give space for participants to voice their experiences and questions.

All are welcome to attend, register now to save your spot!
