This event is an opportunity for passionate designers and innovators to showcase their skills and share their ideas with a community that values creativity and user-focused solutions.

• ​Fireside Chat: Engage in an intimate conversation with experienced btrax designers who will share their insights, challenges, and success stories in creating impactful, user-centered services. This session is a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from industry leaders.

• ​Pitch Session: We invite one or two individuals or groups to present their service ideas. Each pitch should demonstrate a deep understanding of the target user's pains and needs, and offer a thoughtful, user-centered design solution.

• ​Feedback & Networking: Engage with a community of like-minded professionals, exchange insights, and receive constructive feedback on your ideas.

​Our Speakers

​John Alderman is a design strategist and communication expert with over two decades of experience in transforming complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies. As co-founder of Alderman+Ward, he specializes in service design, communication strategy, and user-centered experiences that lead to understanding, engagement, and trust. John has worked with diverse organizations such as Charles Schwab, Mozilla, Air Canada, Shu Uemura, Sony, and the Institute for the Future.

​Uday Dandavate is the founder and CEO of SonicRim, a global design research company engaged in studying people, cultures, and change around the world. At SonicRim, Uday heads up a multidisciplinary team comprised of professionals from the fields of industrial design, market research, psychology, anthropology, information design, and sociology. SonicRim’s clients range from Fortune-500 companies to start-ups and venture capitalists looking for consumer insights to drive the innovation of products, brands, marketing messages, and point-of-purchase experiences.

​Brandon K. Hill is the CEO of btrax, Inc., a San Francisco-based creative agency specializing in Branding and Experience Design Solutions for clients to and from the Asian market. With strong connections to the Japanese Startup community, his interviews often show up on some of the top Japanese media including Nikkei, Wall Street Journal, and TechCrunch Japan.
