Poetry Showcase - New York
Voices Unleashed - Echoes
'Echoes' is a new event series from Voices Unleashed, the team behind hundreds of art-based events worldwide (New York, Bali, Amsterdam, New Zealand, Dominican Republic).
Four incredible artists come together to showcase what spoken word poetry looks like in 2024. Each artist will take 20 minutes to perform, to connect, to say something that can reverberate through us all.
Theme: New Beginnings
This is our 12th Voices Unleashed event in New York and our 1st ever 'Echoes' event.
Voices Unleashed is a community. It's joyful. It's a place for you to be yourself. A space to connect with wildly amazing humans and artists. Look out for our 'Unplugged' events around the city where we host open mics in beautiful locations.
How it works:
Doors at 7pm. We will start promptly at 7:30 and you won't be able to get in once we start!
BYOB — Feel free to bring, to share. Snacks will be provided.
4 Poets, 20 minutes each, with a brief intermission in the middle
We're here for the arts! The ticket sales go exclusively to the four artists and paying off event costs. If $25 is too much please email jackcrawfordbrown@gmail.com and we will figure something out :)
