Join us for the Livepeer Treasury Talk, a monthly community call focused on the governance, funding, and strategic direction of Livepeer’s onchain treasury. Since December 2023, the Livepeer treasury has been governed by LPT stakers and currently allocates ~150,000 LPT per quarter to fund public goods that support the ecosystem.

​During this session, you'll learn how to:

• ​Understand how the Livepeer treasury works and how it funds ecosystem growth

• ​Contribute to an existing Special Purpose Entity (SPE)

• ​Or even propose a new SPE to address a specific need in the Livepeer ecosystem

​💡 What’s an SPE?

​A Special Purpose Entity (SPE) is a community-led group focused on a specific area of the Livepeer ecosystem such as AI, cloud infrastructure, or education. Instead of individuals applying directly for treasury funding, SPEs distribute funds to projects aligned with their mission, making the process more focused, transparent, and impact-driven.

​You’ll also hear updates from active SPEs, learn about current funding opportunities, and have space to ask questions or share feedback.

​Whether you’re a builder, orchestrator, staker, or contributor, this is your opportunity to get involved in Livepeer’s governance and help shape its future.
