Digital Detox Hangout | Groningen
Join The Offline Club at Luhu by locking your phone away and enjoying relaxed time free of digital distractions, surrounded by like-minded people.
This event ensures you have blocked off, screen-free time in your agenda. It allows you to unwind, meet others, and catch up on hobbies you never have the time for.
The Program
19.00 - 19.30 | Walk-in
19.30 - 19.45 | Short introduction of Luhu
19.45 - 20.30 | Time to yourself
20.30 - 21.00 | Time to connect
21.00 - 21.30 | Time to yourself
21.30 - 21.45 | Central round-up
Time to yourself
Sit back and recharge by reading a book, drawing, journaling, or engaging in any solo activity you like. You will do your own thing without being disturbed while enjoying relaxed music in the background. Please bring your own books or creative supplies to keep yourself busy.
Time to connect
Socialize with friends or strangers, but only if you feel like it. This is the time to meet others, have conversations, discuss books, share ideas, or play games. Of course, you can keep to yourself if you prefer.
Luhu
Luhu is the first café in the Netherlands run by deaf people. Everyone working in the café is deaf and uses Dutch Sign Language. But no worries, there is no shortage of communication options: feel free to try gesturing, point out what you want or write it down. The goal is to make you aware that communication is not just through speech.
We can’t wait to swap screen time for real time with you.
