Dinner with Ian Sollom MP: Unlocking More Innovation from Britain’s Universities

​As part of The Entrepreneurs Network’s mission to make the UK the best place in the world to start and scale a business, we regularly engage with all of the main Westminster political parties to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and policymakers.

​Britain has brilliant universities which produce a wealth of research and innovation. But all too often, that innovation falls short of reaching its potential for society because we fail to commercialise it. This dinner will examine what factors limit the impact of research carried out in British universities and discuss ways to address these.

​Our principal guest on the evening will be Ian Sollom MP – Liberal Democrat Universities and Skills Spokesperson, and MP for St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire.
