Moderator: Laurent Span

  • ​​​​Laurent is the founder of SPANVentures., a venture syndicate and host of the "Breaking Barriers of VC" (BBVC) community. Molly Tranbaugh

  • Molly is a partner at All Places, a mission-driven law firm working to close the gender equity gap in capital markets. Before joining All Places, Molly practiced at a major New York law firm and worked in politics and government, serving in roles in the Obama White House and Senate office and with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Molly received her B.A. from Georgetown University and her J.D. from Fordham Law School.

Abby Lyall

  • Abby Lyall is Chief of Staff at Lyonshare, a strategic business building and fundraising agency for startups and funds, where she helps founders and fund managers optimize their capital raises. Previously, Abby was a VC at Tribeca Venture Partners, where she invested in Series A and growth-stage companies across tech verticals. Abby started her career as an early employee at two different accelerator funds, Quake Capital and Big Idea Ventures, where she had the "day zero" experience of building funds from the ground up and getting her hands dirty working with very early-stage founders. She holds a degree in Finance and Computer Science from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Naomi Goez

  • ​Principal at Forum Ventures, Naomi is a former supply chain operator turned emerging thought leader and investor, dedicated to bringing more women, first-gen individuals, and immigrants to the table in the venture landscape.
