This talk dives into prompt engineering in the context of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)—a powerful architecture for building AI assistants that can intelligently query documents and provide accurate, context-aware responses.

​We’ll cover the technical lifecycle of building a document chatbot: data preprocessing, embedding generation, vector database setup, and prompt tuning for optimal LLM output. Using a live demo, we’ll walk through building a RAG-based assistant that understands and reasons over internal documents. Attendees will leave with practical patterns for integrating prompt engineering with RAG to unlock value from enterprise unstructured data.

Speaker Bio:
Kanta works as a Solutions Architect at Amazon, designs cutting-edge AI/ML architectures, leads Generative AI proof-of-concepts, and help businesses harness the power of AI—all while making it look effortless. Before her Amazon stint, she engineered AI-powered cloud solutions at Oracle, optimized distributed data pipelines. She's deeply interested in AI, cloud, automation & IOT etc.
