In 2025, we’re all about bringing our members together and building an even stronger in-person community. And what better way to kick things off than with coffee, good vibes, and great company?

Before SXSW takes over the city, we’re hosting a Coffee & Community Gathering, and we’d love for you to join! One of our London members, Seb, will be in town and is excited to meet some of our Austin crew—so this felt like the perfect excuse to bring everyone together.

Kindred's got you covered—$10 per attendee on us! So grab a coffee, bring your babies, doggies, or just yourself, and let’s make it a fun, relaxed morning.

Meet your hosts

Seb is an explorer at heart, weaving his love for travel, surfing, and community into every chapter of his journey. Originally from Toronto, he has lived and worked across San Francisco, New York, Hong Kong, and now London. During the pandemic, he traded city streets for Costa Rica’s waves, deepening his passion for surfing—now the anchor of most of his travels. In London, he often finds himself alongside the Kindred Europe team, drawn to their mission and the vibrant community they’ve built. Their gatherings have turned a new city into a home. When he’s not riding waves or discovering new corners of the world, you’ll find him immersed in the energy of shared spaces, always seeking connection and adventure.

Kate is a passionate traveler and connector, originally from outside Boston and now based in Austin. With past homes in France and Jordan, she loves immersing herself in new cultures and returns to New England every summer. Her bright, open home is designed for remote work, filled with natural light, and features a kitchen stocked from her baking days. Outside, a patio garden of herbs and flowers offers a peaceful retreat. Whether in Boston, LA, or beyond, Kate enjoys sharing her space and making fellow travelers feel at home.
