About Event

Join us for our WIE Speaker Series on May 14, 2025, featuring Branden D. Miller, a leading figure in theatrical marketing with 43 years of experience and over 400 film releases to his credit, spanning major blockbusters and critically acclaimed independent films.

As Head of In-Theatre Marketing at Amazon MGM Studios, Miller oversees theatrical campaigns for Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Orion Pictures, and United Artists across the U.S. and Canada. His recent work includes Red One, Air, Challengers, and Oscar®-nominated titles Nickel Boys, Women Talking, and American Fiction.

Previously, he served as SVP of In-Theatre Marketing and Distribution at United Artists Releasing, leading campaigns for Creed II, The Addams Family, House of Gucci, and No Time to Die. At Annapurna Pictures, his credits include Vice, Booksmart, If Beale Street Could Talk, and Missing Link.

Miller spent 25 years at 20th Century Fox, where he directed domestic in-theatre marketing for iconic titles like Avatar, Star Wars, Ice Age, The Revenant, Slumdog Millionaire, and Twelve Years a Slave. He began his career at Disney’s Buena Vista Pictures, supporting animated classics like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

An award-winning marketer and industry leader, Miller has received the ShowEast Al Shapiro Distinguished Service Award, Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards, and multiple POPAI and OMA accolades. He is also deeply committed to industry philanthropy, serving with Variety the Children's Charity, the Will Rogers Foundation, Brave Beginnings, the MPAA Appeals Board, and the Vidiots Advisory Board. A Utah Valley University Outstanding Alumnus, Miller brings a legacy of creative excellence and leadership to the screen—and the stage.
