Erin Rusler is an American Yogini born into the Rudrananda Ashram in Indiana (Yes. Indiana!). This lineage has roots in the Siddha Yoga traditions through the Bhagavan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri, Tibetan Buddhism, and Kashmir Saivism (Trika).
Taking these philosophies and spiritual traditions with extensive experience and modern Western asana practice, Erin is dedicated to this healing, spiritual path. Yoga has taken her around the globe, with amazing teachers, training styles, methods, techniques, and certifications that allow her to help you find ease and comfort in poses. Emphasis is on correct posture and positioning to improve your breathing, while increasing strength and flexibility.
As the clinical manager of an Ayurveda clinic in West Los Angeles, The Doshi Center for Integrative Health and Maharishi Ayurveda, Erin collaborates with one of the top Indian Vaidyas (doctor), bringing ancient healing practices to the modern world. With her master’s degree in Ayurveda, Erin has expanded her understanding of the yoga body through classical scriptures and traditions. She is a medical yoga anthropologist, an embodied philosopher, and a lover of all things living and cosmic. Erin believes in embodying the practice through philosophy and modern integrations, making her teachings both profound and accessible.
Erin has a Master's Degree in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She is currently working at LMU on a post-graduate advanced Yoga Therapy Certification and taking private clients.
