​The Good Doll is an initiative that is enabling women from the rural and indigenous communities of the Nilgiris to generate equitable income using craft & commerce as a medium.

​A Rang De impact partner, Rang De social investors have invested in women entrepreneurs associated with The Good Doll. These women have used the credit to buy industrial grade sewing machines and have completely repaid their loans!

Suhas will share the story behind building The Good Doll and insights around art, entrepreneurship and how crucial low-cost credit has been for this journey. We will also talk about how models like The Good Doll can continue to enable and strengthen local communities across India.
