PIER59 Studios Summer Series presents “Sculpting Time,” an exhibition by Now Media & Projekt Blank in collaboration with PIER59 Studios Virtual Production.

Join us June 26th at PIER59 Studios in Chelsea for a celebration of media art, immersive film, and the evolving intersection of technology and storytelling.

Now Media, Projekt Blank, and PIER59 Studios are coming together to spotlight artists redefining the boundaries of art through emerging mediums. The inaugural showcase features a short program of screenings, installations and performances from a curation of emerging and established digital artists and filmmakers pushing the limits of time based mediums.

At the heart of the experience is PIER59 Studios’ state-of-the-art 65' LED Virtual Production Stage, powering the main activation and showcasing what’s possible when visionary art meets advanced technology. More than an exhibition, it offers guests a firsthand look at the studio’s next-gen capabilities for immersive events and content creation.

The curatorial theme of "Sculpting Time" speaks to the meticulous, hands-on nature of digital artistry, and the craft behind the featured artists’ work. Just as a sculptor carves form from raw material, these artists shape meaning from code, image, motion, and sound. Whether through 3D animation, photography, illustration, film, or generative systems, each contributor transforms time into a vessel for storytelling.

The first in a series of events, the exhibition brings together both established and emerging voices exploring identity through digital sculpture, moving image, sound, and performance.
