CroAI Meetup Zagreb: Can AI make Croatia more cyber secure?
For this CroAI Meetup, we teamed up with AI2FUTURE & are coming in as the main Day 0 event of the conference! 🚀
As Croatia becomes increasingly digitalized, our exposure to cyber threats grows as well. This year alone, hospitals, banks, and government offices have been targeted by cyber attacks, raising questions about the state of our cyber security. Are we doing enough to protect our digital infrastructure, do we have the basic security measures in place, and is cyber security a top priority for the country? 🤔
Speakers:
- Bojan Alikavazovic: Principal Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist at INFIGO IS, Bojan has a background in handling cyber incidents and developing threat intelligence.
- Damir Pavusin, MBA: Regional Executive at Axians and CroAI board member, Damir brings insights from one of Europe’s top cybersecurity firms, sharing trends and the growing impact of AI in the field.
- Tom Vazdar: As the founder of Riskoria Advising and Professional Services, LLC, Tomislav is experienced in data protection and AI integration. He’ll bring his insights on managing cybersecurity risks on a global scale.
- Jakov Kiš: Working with the National CERT, Jakov is committed to raising awareness about cyber threats. His experience includes educating and collaborating nationally and internationally on cybersecurity.
The discussion will be guided by Marko Gulan, an expert in cybersecurity with over 15 years of experience, specializing in the protection of critical infrastructure.
They’ll explore the current state of Croatia's cyber security, and whether AI is already being used to defend our systems & what more it could do to protect us from the growing wave of cyber threats. From basic security measures to cutting-edge AI solutions, we’ll discuss what’s needed to build a more secure digital future for Croatia! 🔐
