Below the Belt Screening
Join Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, and Lotus Fertility for a special screening of the PBS documentary Below the Belt, a powerful film that exposes the widespread inequities in women's healthcare. As four patients urgently search for answers to mysterious symptoms, the film highlights how societal taboos, gender bias, misinformed doctors, and financial barriers disproportionately affect women.
Following the screening, engage in a thought-provoking panel discussion moderated by Cally Myhrum, founder & CEO of Lotus Fertility, and featuring Dr. Nicole Donnellan from the UPMC Magee-Womens Center for Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain.
