A conversation with Jerry Yang, Yahoo! co-founder

​We are thrilled to invite you to a special event with Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo! and a visionary in the tech industry. ​Jerry Yang, the co-founder of Yahoo!, is a Stanford MS ’90 and BS ’90 (Electrical Engineering), an investor, mentor, and board member at Stanford University and other organizations.

​After earning his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Yang, alongside David Filo, revolutionized how the world accessed information online by creating in 1994 Yahoo! as a directory and search engine. His innovation led to the rise of the internet era, fundamentally changing the way people communicate, work, and interact.

​Today, Yang is a prominent investor and philanthropist, with a keen interest in the future of technology.

​Jerry is chair of The Stanford Board of Trustees and previously served as vice-chair. A longtime Stanford volunteer, he also serves on the advisory boards of The Natural Capital Project and Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI.
