Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet

​As the planet warms, extreme heat events are becoming increasingly frequent and impactful – in many places exceeding the limits of human tolerance, adding to food insecurity, and limiting access to vaccines.  The response has been growing dependence on cooling systems, increasing the demand for power, adding to fossil fuel combustion, greater GHG emissions, and further warming.  This event will showcase efforts to identify and promote innovative cooling solutions that are both more efficient and sustainable.
