​Universal Income vs Universal Wage: This is the Dilemma

​What exactly should count as “work” in our society—and how should it be valued and remunerated, if at all? How is power and social status entrenched in the current values of the labor market, and how can we start valuing what really makes society work?

​Universal Basic Income and Universal Wage will be discussed as two different proposals that seek to address these challenges. Augusta and Remi will explore these two different perspectives, and the public will be invited to weigh in, raise questions, and reflect on which paths feel most just, realistic, and transformative.
