About Event

Dreading the next phone call?

Feeling drained after every visit home?

Wondering if it’s even worth trying anymore?

You’re not alone. Family relationships can be incredibly complicated—especially when politics, identity, values, or old wounds create distance and tension.

This workshop is a space to step back, reset, and learn how to navigate family stress without losing yourself.

This workshop, led by an experienced therapist,  is designed for people dealing with strained, distant, or high-conflict family dynamics.

And you won’t be doing it alone—you’ll be in community with others facing the same challenges. In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Learn how to set and maintain realistic, healthy boundaries.

  • Get tools for staying grounded during emotionally charged conversations.

  • Explore strategies for coping with being misunderstood—or shut out.

  • Practice communication approaches that reflect your values and protect your peace.

  • Explore ways to care for yourself in the in-between.

Whether you’re facing silence, conflict, or the pain of feeling unseen, this is a chance to reflect, learn, and feel supported. Share if you want—or just listen.

You’ll leave feeling more grounded, validated, and equipped to make choices that support your well-being.

This Connect & Grow workshop is 90 minutes long, with cameras on.
