About Event

In This Connect & Grow Workshop...

Dreading the next phone call? Feeling exhausted after every visit home? Not sure how to even begin the next conversation—or whether it’s worth trying at all?

You’re not the only one.

Family relationships can be incredibly complicated—especially in times of cultural, political, and generational tension.

This interactive, skills-based workshop is designed for people navigating strained, distant, or high-conflict family relationships. Whether you’re managing tough conversations (or long silences) around politics, identity, values, or just old dynamics that never seem to change—this is a space for you.

You’ll learn:

  • How to set and maintain realistic, healthy boundaries

  • Tools for staying grounded during emotionally charged interactions

  • Strategies for coping with being misunderstood—or shut out

  • Communication approaches that honor your values and protect your peace

  • How to care for yourself in the in-between

This is a guided, reflective experience filled with practical skills, emotional insight, and supportive connection, without any pressure to share if you don’t want to. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, validated, and prepared to engage (or disengage) in ways that align with your well-being.

About your therapist facilitator

Ann Dypiangco, LCSW, has over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist and specializes in anxiety, trauma, and perinatal mental health. Her workshops are rooted in compassion and curiosity, with a deep respect for the complexity of each person’s lived experience. She is a member of the Founding Clinical Community at Mental Health Match and is especially interested in how technology continues to shape meaningful mental health care.

Though her social work license and practice are based in California, Ann currently lives in her home state of Montana with her husband, three children, and a Boston Terrier named Pawl.
