​ICP's hosting Discord pomodoro sessions with our Discord pomodoro bot allowing us to self-improve and connect during breaks. Open to members, friends of ICP and a wider curated crowd.

What are Discord pomodoro sessions?

50 minute work sessions with cameras (or) screen-sharing on, microphones muted in our Discord server. Optional 10 minute breaks in break rooms for chats, brainstorms, games and catchups.

​How can this help me?

​We all want to be around people who push us to grow. But we work a lot, often from home, with little time for events or 1-on-1s. Our calendars are full.

​The answer might be hiding in plain sight: we spend half our lives working. Work and short break blocks in our calendar’s not a constraint- it’s untapped social liquidity. Real connection and motivation happens naturally when we’re in sync with others we want to be like, doing what we already do. Think chats outside lecture halls, gyms, or libraries, shared breaks sparking brainstorms, learning and catchups.

So what if there were a virtual space like that where we could work and break rhythmically with driven interesting people anywhere anytime?

​Why other methods fail: FocusMate, Flow.club, coworking Discords, or cafes lack curation and rhythm. Who knows who you’re working with. Offices are expensive, commutes are draining, and chats feel forced. Schools trap us in rigid circles of discipline and years. None of these foster the fluid, inspiring connections we actually want.
