Meet Our Panelists:
🔹 Dr. Alicia Sheares – Assistant professor at Stanford University’s School of Engineering and Spelman College alumna. Her research focuses on Black tech entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and Atlanta, as well as the success factors for Black and Latine startups in the U.S. Her work has been published in leading academic journals.
🔹 Dr. Jonathan E. Collins – Assistant professor at Columbia University’s Teachers College and director of the School Board and Youth Engagement Lab. A Morehouse College alumnus, his research explores community engagement, local government accessibility, and education policy. His insights have been featured in top academic journals and media outlets like The Washington Post, Forbes, and NPR.
