mpkoz – Metropolis: NYC | Bright Moments x Art Blocks

​​Bright Moments is excited to announce ‘Metropolis‘ by mpkoz, the first collection in our collaborative series with Art Blocks.

​​Metropolis is a long-form generative art project exploring the node-based systems that enable modern society. Each Metropolis mint will reflect a Bright Moments city – LA, New York, London, Berlin and Mexico City – via an on-chain trait. These traits reference abstract architectural forms and color palettes that are inspired by the respective city.

​​The project will combine Art Block’s best-in-class online minting experience with Bright Moments’ expertise in IRL exhibitions. During a world tour across all Bright Moments galleries, holders can use their unique mint to generate a diptych: a second piece that extends programmatically from the first, minted IRL for free in the associated city.

​​We will mint in NYC on March 2nd at Beam Suntory HQ.

​Minting Starts: 5pm
Minting Ends: 7pm

​If you are planning to mint an NYC Metropolis diptych, please arrive before 7pm with a screenshot of your Bright Moments QR code. The QR code is generated by connecting the wallet holding the Metropolis NYC mint to app.brightmoments.io.

​It will not be possible to mint at any other point and we cannot guarantee mints for people that come last minute.

​Metropolis holders and delegates will have priority access. CryptoCitizens and additional registrations will be accepted on a FCFS basis as capacity permits.
