Linda Petrini | Secure AI Tech Tree Launch
Foresight Institute’s Intelligent Cooperation Group
Launch: Secure AI Tech Tree
Foresight Institute is launching a Secure AI Tech Tree!
The tech tree is an interactive map of technical paths toward secure and beneficial AI. It helps researchers, funders, and policymakers navigate the field, identify key bottlenecks, and coordinate efforts more effectively.
In this seminar, Linda Petrini, an AI researcher and writer collaborating with Foresight Institute, who has been the lead curator and strategist in creating the tech tree will share:
What the AI Tech Tree covers and how it can help you – Navigate complex research landscapes, identify promising directions, spot funding opportunities, and understand how different technical approaches connect
Why tech trees matter for fast-moving fields like AI, and how this one was built – Including methodology and community input that shaped the final product
Key insights that emerged, and how you can contribute or apply the tree in your work
