Training Community Day @ RSECon25 (Hybrid)
Registration Deadline: In-person – 5th August 2025, 23:59 BST / Online – Accepted on a rolling basis
The Training Community Day event is being organised to bring together the community of RSEs and digital research technical professionals (dRTPs) interested in teaching computational skills to researchers, to share and discuss ideas and best practice. The programme will include a launch session for the Teaching and Training SIG as well as other presentations and discussions relevant to the training community.
A full programme for the day will be published soon, with potential themes including:
RSEng training needs in the context of Generative AI
Digital Skills and Competencies
Training on Research Software Quality
The event will finish with some feedback from the sessions and discussion group chairs will provide a brief report which will be hosted here and publicised to support RSEs and dRTPs who train.
Note: This event will support hybrid participation, attendees can register to attend the event remotely as well.
