Family Fun Day! Sports special
The RSBC will be running a fun day in conjunction with the 2025 London Marathon, and we will be opening the doors to our Life Without Limits Centre to all young people with vision impairments and their family and friends.
This is a sports themed day, where we will have a variety of physical activities tailored to people with vision impairments. These will be suitable no matter your fitness level, if you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete. If you want to come and test your skills or just meet other young people or families and socialise this is the place to be!
As well as sports there will be an arts and craft corner and a small soft play area for our younger guests to keep busy and lunch will be included.
You will also be able to pop around to the front of the building to cheer on our amazing runners and take in the marathon atmosphere at RSBC's own cheer point!
Who are the Fun Days for?
Our Fun Days are open to any child or young person with a vision impairment and their families. They are a brilliant place to meet others and form new friendships.
When and where?
Our Life without Limits Centre is at 10 Lower Thames Street EC3R 6EN, at the rear of the Northern and Shell building. The Fun Day will be starting at 11am and wrapping up around 2pm.
As it will be London Marathon Day, London will be busy. We recommend that you use London Bridge Station as it means you will not need to cross the marathon route and have easy access to our centre on London's Northbank.
