SBWC April Outing: Shipley Nature Center

​A TOUR of Shipley Nature Center!

​We have a special opportunity for a private tour at Shipley Nature Center—they are normally closed on Thursdays, but they’ve arranged for a volunteer guide to host us on April 3. This will be a wonderful way to enjoy nature and learn more about our local environment!

​Please arrive by 10.45am, dress casual with good, comfortable walking shoes as the nature walk is approximately 2 miles. Bring a sweatshirt or wrap (just in case). 

​Cost is $5 per person for Shipleys - paid in advance (by Pat Rogers). Please reimburse her. If you cancel before April 1, you do not have to pay.

​After the tour and walk through the Nature Center we will be meeting at Kathy May's Lakeview Cafe, 6622 Lakeview Dr Huntington Beach, CA 92648

​Great place to eat lunch and visit.  Cafe closes at 3, so we need to get there immediately after our tour.
