Nucleate Midwest (Chicago & Ann Arbor) 2024 Activator Showcase
Join us on May 17th to celebrate the Nucleate Chicago and Nucleate Ann Arbor 2024 Activator cohorts as part of the first ever Nucleate MIDWEST event! Our collective 13 startups will present their technologies to industry leaders, seasoned investors, and other members of the Nucleate community. As an attendee you will have the opportunity to connect with our future founders and learn more about their innovative work. We hope to see you there!
What is Nucleate?
Nucleate is a student-run nonprofit organization that facilitates the formation of new life science ventures. Our equity-free Activator program supports scientific trainees who plan to tackle the biggest challenges in human health by building life science startups. Alumni of the Activator have gone on to found 78 companies and raise more than $300 million.
What is the Activator Showcase?
As part of the Showcase, our 2024 Activator teams will present to an audience of investors, industry experts, and other members of the local biotech ecosystem. Prizes will be awarded for the best pitches and ideas by a panel of judges from the Nucleate community. The Showcase Award will be voted on by engagement from the audience.
What is the format of Demo Day?
Demo Day is a one-day, in-person pitch event for celebrating the growing biotech ecosystem in Chicago and the greater Midwest.
10:00am - Welcome
10:30 - 12:00pm - Pitch Session 1
12 - 1pm - Lunch
1:00 -1:30pm - Keynote: Panel on the Midwestern Biotech
2:00 - 5:00pm - Pitch session 2
5:30pm - Awards presentation
5:45pm - 7:30pm - Reception & Happy Hour
