Poetry Writing Workshop with Michael Rosen (live-stream)
What should participants expect?
Join Michael Rosen and 64 Million Artists live online, as Michael talks us through his creative prompt of the day and invites you to join in at the same time! This will be a fun, participatory online workshop, suitable for children, young people and adults. Schools are warmly invited to log in and join us!
We'll be hearing from Michael about how and why he designed this prompt, and we'll have a go at the activity together. The creative prompt is a surprise for the day - but to give you a sense of the theme, we will be exploring early memories. As with all The January Challenge prompts, it is free to take part in and accessible.

Who is Michael Rosen?
"Hello! I'm Michael Rosen. I'm a writer and broadcaster - You might know me from my books for children which include "We're going on a Bear Hunt"and "Chocolate Cake". You might know me from the BBC Radio 4 programme that I host called "Word of Mouth". Younger people seem to know me as "the meme guy", as some lads in America edited a poem of mine about hot potatoes into a meme of me saying the word "Nice" in my North London accent. I get stopped all over the place by lovely young people asking me to say "nice"!" You can find out more about Michael by clicking here.
