​Clean Industrial Deal (CID): a plan for EU decarbonisation & competitiveness
The CID was presented by the Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on 26 February. This bold initiative aims to accelerate decarbonisation while strengthening the EU’s industrial competitiveness, ensuring that European manufacturers remain resilient amidst rising energy costs and global competition with high energy costs and mounting global competition.
