Participants will have the opportunity to practice their presentation skills in a low stress, encouraging environment.
Practical techniques to fight nerves and feel more comfortable in front of a crowd
Verbal and physical exercises to help engage with an audience and hold their attention
Some useful rhetorical devices for clearly explaining complex ideas
WID x Spitfire presents:
Beyond the Visual, a storytelling workshop series
Whether it’s presenting to a client, leading a team meeting or pitching a concept, great spoken and written communication is an essential skill for designers. It’s also a little outside many of our comfort zones!
Throughout this workshop series, we hope to provide a broad foundation of useful storytelling techniques and a friendly environment in which to practice them. Light food and drink to be provided.
