​PM Hive is back with another "PM Buzz" - welcoming all PMs in Vancouver to join us on a special day where we discuss how non-traditional backgrounds break into becoming a PM!

​We'll feature three speakers who come from non-traditional backgrounds, who will give brief presentations about their journey and learning lessons for breaking into PM. Then, we'll finish by letting everyone casually network in the venue until 2 pm!

​Note: Tickets are $3 to fund food & drinks!

• ​Stephen Flach, Sr. PM at Mozilla

  • ​Stephen was a musician for the first stage of his life, before jumping into education and startups.

• ​​Anthony Siu, Sr. PM at Microsoft

  • ​Anthony has a non-technical business background from SFU and then worked as a PM at SAP.

• ​Aurelia Kong, Sr. PM at Jane.app

  • ​Aurelia graduated in Cognitive Systems from UBC and has since broken into PM after various roles at Jane.app.

• ​Timothy Yeung, Dr. of Product at Hootsuite

  • ​Timothy graduated from Accounting at UBC, but has since been involved with ProductBC, became an instructor at UBC, and has over a decade of product experience
