moss invites you to join us for a panel on men-tal health hosted by emily gray, featuring panelists that represent pillars of mental health advocacy in a range of fields, and important voices in our local community:
christian gonzalez (public figure, naturopathic doctor, podcast host)
ben smith (public figure, performance coach, mental health advocate)
deandre sinette (content creator, yoga instructor, mental health advocate)
sean crim (artist with work focusing on mental health, particularly themes of grief and acceptance)
the goal of the panel is to inspire a raw and real conversation on mental health from the male perspective - one that is often suppressed due to social stigma. the discussion will cover the following themes, and conclude with q&a by the audience:
exploring personal relationships with mental health
dissecting and overcoming the stigma around men’s mental health
tools and insights to support mental health for men, including mindfulness, breathwork, movement, vulnerability, community, artistic expression, etc.
a portion of proceeds will be donated to movember - the leading charity changing the face of men’s health, funding more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
