About Event

​Lawyers are 3.6 times more likely on average to suffer from mental health as people in other professions… and the Covid-19 pandemic hasn’t made things any easier

Mental fitness is your ability to handles life’s challenges with a positive mindset rather than a negative mindset. Your mental fitness affects EVERYTHING, including your performance, your relationships, and your well-being.  Extensive research shows that mental fitness is the best predictor of how happy you will be and how well you will perform relative to your potential.

 This workshop will begin with an explanation of the Attorney Burnout Continuum.  From there you will learn about a range of strategies and techniques which can be used to manage stress, increase well-being and prevent burnout. 

 The workshop will finish with a discussion of Positive Intelligence and a demonstration of a science-based technique which can used to calm the survival part of your brain and activate the parts of the brain which help you thrive. This practice, when done consistently builds mental muscle and results in significant and lasting change.
