🤗 Explorations of Meaning & Belonging

​What is the shape of meaning and belonging in the 21st century? What does a "life well lived" look and feel in a city, in this time and era, with or without a nuclear family? What does it look like in SF when a lot of us work... a lot?

​We'll use these sessions as an intimate gathering to explore these topics and others – examining our relationships to family, friendship, parenthood, urban life, and work to make sense of a holistic and meaningful life.

​While we'll likely come up with more questions than answers, the hope is to create a space where, by the end of our time together, we have a stronger sense for what's important to us.

​The format of a junto is simple one of a single-threaded conversation. The same group meets week over week, and shares just a single thread together. To cohere that, we'll start each week with a question.

​Week 1: What does true and meaningful friendship look and feel like to you?

​Week 2: In what ways do you currently struggle with feelings of belonging, groundedness, and community? What would you say are the most pressing obstacles to a life of belonging?

​Week 3: How do you fit in your parents, desires for parenthood, and family more generally into your life?
