This first cohort will meet over five focused one-hour lessons (1 hour/day for 5 days).

The lessons will be live and interactive, led by Larissa Schwartz, who is Prof. Tom Yeh’s PhD student in Engineering Education. Larissa created and taught this course for our university, and has distilled the very best of the semester into this concise, high-impact format.

The course meets at the same time each day, Monday through Friday for this cohort.

No. This course is designed for anyone curious about Generative AI — no coding and no math required.
❓ How is the course structured?
You’ll attend five live, one-hour lessons (one per day) covering: Image, Video, Sound, Research, and Human-Centered AI. Each session is interactive, with time for Q&A.
❓ Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes. All registered participants will receive recordings, so you can revisit the material anytime.
❓ How do I complete a lesson?
To complete a lesson, you need to attend the live session (or watch the recording) and submit the short homework assignment for that lesson.
❓ Will I get something to show I completed the course?
Yes! You’ll earn a badge for each lesson completed, and a certificate of completion when you finish all five lessons.
