MCP Build Night with goose by Block
Join AITX and the team behind codename goose by Block for MCP Build Night, a hands-on event for anyone curious about building with MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open source standard for managing and sharing context between AI models and applications.
We’ll be using codename goose, a local, open source MCP client that’s LLM-agnostic and available on both Desktop and CLI, to explore how MCP works in practice. Whether you're brand new to MCP or looking to sharpen your skills, this evening is for you.
We’ll start with a quick intro to MCP and goose, followed by guided demos showing how to use goose with a range of MCP servers. After that, you’ll have time to build or vibe code your own creations. We’ll end the night with a community showcase of what you made.
What to Expect:
Quick intro to MCP and codename goose
Guided walkthroughs with goose and MCP servers
Dedicated build time
Live project showcases
Who Should Come:
Builders, hackers, engineers, and anyone curious about running their own MCP server or exploring what they can build with goose.
