SPEAKERS
Nathan is Cofounder & CEO of it's electric, an EV charging network with a mission to expand public charging in cities. Serving the 70 million US drivers who live in apartments, it's electric has developed a charger purpose-built for sidewalks and city streets. Featuring a sleek, durable (vandal resistant) design, it's electric's chargers are the first in North America to feature a detachable charging cable. With chargers already active in NYC and Detroit, and with new deployments coming to Boston, Los Angeles, and several other cities in 2025, it's electric is moving quickly to ensure all drivers have access to convenient and reliable EV charging.
Dr. Vincent Romanin, the CTO and co-founder of Gradient, is a pivotal figure in the climate technology sector, leading the company from its founding to its significant role in sustainable innovation. His journey began at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Focusing on heat transfer and the fluid mechanics of microturbines, Dr. Romanin's research contributed to small-scale solar combined heat and power systems, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors in clean technology.
