About Event

Get ready to revamp your engagement, onboarding, and marketing strategies and operations during our May, June, July Ops Sprints! We invite you to RSVP for the Onboarding and Marketing Ops Sprints.

Our first Ops Sprint is a 3-week event that will give you support and space to create workflows + automations that increase community engagement.

Each session is two hours, starting with a few fundamental lessons and sharing helpful resources. Then attendees get focused on a project of their choice. The Burb team will be on hand to help build workflows and automations. You'll also hang out with other community creators working through similar challenges. We'll end by checking in on progress and making a plan for the next time we meet.

Who is this event for?

Do you have an online community and need support creating structure around content and engagement? You’ll get the most out of this series if you have an existing membership community hosted on Slack, Circle, or Discord!

  • Setting up and testing a new newsletter or blog

Special Guest Co-hosts

During the first session Tiffany Oda will join us and share her content calendar and automation workflows built in Airtable!

Tiffany is the Director of Community Operations at Venafi, Strategic Community Advisor at Talkbase, and the Co-Founder of Community OPServations, a monthly community meetup to discuss all things CommOps. With the goal of mainstreaming Community Operations as its own role and swimlane on community teams, Tiffany aims to share her knowledge and expertise in the field, as well as helping people both hire and find jobs in CommOps. She is nerdy about process efficiency, community program management, and all the things behind the scenes it takes to make a community run smoothly inside and out. Tiffany is based in San Francisco and enjoys spending time with her shiba inu Yoshi, drinking wine, and going to Orange Theory classes.

BTW, we were inspired to host sprints because we saw how powerful they are for Jay Clouse's Creative Companion Club. We suggest checking his community out, too!
