The Facilitator Cards Playground
The Playground is the place to try, test, and experience different Facilitator Cards.
As facilitators, we rarely get to try out new things in safe spaces where we can see how they work, understand timing, and get meaningful feedback from people who know what they’re doing! That’s what this space is created for. It’s a place to learn new processes, see folks things out, and get to put on our participant hats for a while and be reminded what it’s like to be a participant.
Come play with us on The Playground! These sessions are totally free and limited to 25 people, so snag your spot now.
This month Meg will be leading 1-2 Facilitator Cards (chosen by you!) and the group will share feedback, insights, and ideas for iterating or improving the processes.
Note on Timing - No Late Arrivals
Due to the short nature of this workshop and the way that the first 10 minutes shape and are the basis of conversation for the next 50, the (virtual) doors to the workshop will close after 5 minutes and late arrivals will not be able to join.
The recording, however, will be posted on our YouTube after the event where you'll be able to view it if you were not in attendance.
FAQs
Do I need Facilitator Cards?
Nope!
Do I need to sign-up to get the recording?
Nope! If you do not plan to attend but would like the recording, we recommend subscribing to our YouTube! We post all of our event recordings there.
How participatory is this event?
Highly participatory! While we welcome you to bring food to snack on, this is not a session where you can just listen in or multitask.
Also, the norm in our events is to have your camera on. It's totally fine if you want to remain off-camera, but we ask that anyone with their camera off still be fully engaged and participating in the session.
