In last month's community jam, we dove into the risks of centering lived experiences of marginalized communities in inclusive design projects.
This month, we will dive deeper into three key themes on trauma-informed design that emerged from our last jam session:

How do we practice trauma-informed design?

What to Expect
This session will be shaped by contributions from all attendees — we encourage you to share your questions, no matter your degree of experience with inclusive design. Our host Sandra By Design and community guides will help to guide the discussion and some workshopping!

You can choose to lean in and actively participate or step back and follow along in silence.
You can join via desktop or mobile — we'll adapt any tools we use and facilitation techniques to however people connect.
We will provide closed captions, live transcripts and live transcripts to the best of our ability.

Who are we?
We are the Inclusive Design Jam, an inclusive design learning community committed to making the access and use of products, services and environments equal to all. We meet in monthly jam sessions and in our Slack group to explore and workshop topics related to inclusive and equitable design.
The community and jam sessions are proudly hosted by Sandra Camacho (She/Her), aka Sandra By Design, an independent inclusive design consultant and educator based in Paris, France.
