About Event

โ€‹We love San Francisco. It's a city that has given us so much and has built the ecosystem that helps turn our visions into reality. And the city needs our help. This Nov is a one in 20 year chance to change SF, and it starts with this March 5 election!

โ€‹The best way to help San Francisco is to become active in local politics starting with this March 5th election, but we know it can be confusing to know where to start...we'll explain the ballot propositions and the most important group you've never heard of, the Democratic County Central Committee.

โ€‹Come join founding Commons member & DCCC candidate Michael Lai, DCCC candidate Carrie Barnes & GrowSF & bring your mail ballot!

โ€‹
1) If you're already registered to vote, bring your mail-in ballots and we'll discuss all of the propositions & DCCC race
2) If you aren't registered to vote, you can still do so on election day 3/5 in person: https://www.sf.gov/same-day-voter-registration
3) Hear from Commons member & candidate for SF DCCC (endorsed by Nancy Pelosi, Scott Wiener, GrowSF, TogetherSF, and 20+) Michael Lai & candidate for DCCC Carrie Barnes share a 101 for SF politics & explain the DCCC and the ballot propositions
4) If you can't vote but want to learn come anyway!

โ€‹Carrie Barnes (www.votecarriebarnes.com) is on Michael's DCCC slate. She is a community leader and public policy and communications professional. She believes San Francisco is a city worth fighting for and is passionate about building more housing, leveling the playing field for women, and ensuring that San Francisco is a safe and vibrant city. She lives with her husband and daughter in Noe Valley.
